About Murmurio

Murmurio is a native macOS dictation app published by Norixis. Speech recognition runs on device with bundled local models, and the app is designed to process only what is needed for user-started dictation.

Data and permissions

Murmurio requests Microphone access for dictation, Input Monitoring only for the configured global shortcut, and Accessibility only when automatic paste is enabled. Transcripts are copied to the clipboard so you can paste them manually when auto-paste is off.

Pro purchases and license activation

A €49 lifetime Murmurio Pro purchase is processed by Link and Stripe as merchant of record. We receive the purchase email, Stripe identifiers, payment state, and a pseudonymous device identifier needed to restore purchases, enforce the three-Mac limit, prevent fraud, and revoke access after a full refund. We do not receive or store your full card number.
